Parenting Time Expeditor

A Parenting Time Expeditor is a person appointed by a court order to resolve disagreements about parenting time that arise after a parenting time order is in place. For example, one parent’s proposal for a vacation with the child(ren) may be opposed by the other parent. If their court order has appointed a Parenting Time Expeditor, the parties can present their dispute to the Expeditor for assistance in solving the problem. If they can’t reach an agreement with the Expeditor’s help, the Parenting Time Expeditor makes the decision for them.
